Kate & Scott’s magical day was held at two of the most beautiful locations in Perth. St Georges is such a beautiful little chapel and The Quarry is one of my favourite venues in Perth. Its magical.

The whole day from start to finish was beautiful, their classic vintage style was shown in all the details of the day for their New Years day wedding. Kate and Scott’s speeches had me in tears, the love amongst family was beautiful to see, and so touching, and instead of guests buying gifts they gave to two incredible charities that they support.  Their first dance was amazing, and so fun to watch, and when Kate played guitar and had her good friend sing an incredible song to Scott I’m not sure there was a dry eye.

When I got to Julie’s house I was met by the most relaxed bride and bridesmaid, often there is a flurry of activity going on, but these girls were so relaxed and calm. Julie looked incredible in her beautiful Donna Tobin lace gown, and some of the lace from her dress was used to make her beautiful hair piece. The whole day was relaxed and beautiful, I loved seeing the lollie table which had used cartons of coffee chills as the lollie holders such a sweet idea as Richard has one or two of these every day ( I relate Richard I do too!).

Darlington Estate is just beautiful, and we had a lovely time walking around finding beautiful little nooks for some beautiful images.

Patricia & Jeremy were married on a beautiful spring day at the gorgeous Lake Charlotte. If your looking for an intimate setting for your special day, I would highly recommend Lake Charlotte. I havent been there before, but it is tucked away about 50 minutes from the city, the setting is beautiful, and the staff were so attentative and lovely. It was a lunchtime wedding, which I actually adore, with the couple exchanging vows at midday, and a lunchtime reception it was intimate and beautiful.

Patricia and Jeremys gorgeous little boy Liam got to feature in his parents special day, and he was such a cutie he almost stole the show!

I love watching couples in love on their big day, it brings back such a flood of emotion of all the excitement that will follow.

Trish, you were such a beautiful, calm, happy bride, and it was my pleasure to be able to capture your and Jeremy’ s love for each other, your gorgeous little boy Liam and all of your close friends and family.

 Tasmin and I met just over 12 months ago, and we just clicked instantly. I think we chatted each other’s ears off in that first meeting, and then via emails over the next 6 months. When I was 35 weeks pregnant with Indiana and she stubbornly wouldn’t head to the right position, Tasmin being a wonderful midwife and lovely friend sent me information on my options and teed up an appointment with a well known ‘baby turner’ chiro. Her thoughtfulness touched me at a time when I was feeling quite vulnerable.

Then in the leadup to Tasmin’s day we had some rain. A lot of rain. This November has to have been one of the wetest we have had in years. It rained almost every Saturday in November. But not for Tasmin and Quentin’s day. The sun was shining and it was so beautiful to watch a couple so in love and happy to be begining the rest of their lives together.

Tasmin, it was such a pleasure to be able to capture your special day. Ps I have dress envy…. so beautiful!!!!

Erin & Michael were married on a beautiful day right at the end of spring.  After rain all week it was a gorgeous sunny day for this happy couple to celebrate their love.

Erin has a beautiful big infectious smile, every-time I looked to her, she was smiling, it was gorgeous to see.

Ryan & Sarah met years and years ago, 11 to be in fact – Ryan, what took you so long?! (My husband and I have known each other for less time that that and we have 3 kids up on you!:)  So fittingly there bridal waltz was ‘At Last’ which was beautiful. 

Sarah looked incredible beautiful and Ryan very dapper in his tux! Sarah was touchingly emotional in the lead up to the wedding, extremely excited that she was getting married that day to Ryan. The rest of the day was a flurry of laughs and hilarious bridesmaids which made for a very comical and fun afternoon! One of my favourite images is the 7th one down, Sarah is looking in the mirror, and just to her right is a photo of her Mum & Dad on their wedding day.

Sarah’s beautiful dress was from Galleria Couture, and her flowers were from Essential Blooms at Herdsman Markets. Sarah and Ryan, thankyou for allowing me to capture your special day, It was beautiful, and touching (especially the family dancing) to be a part of it, and thank you for your patience, I know you have been itching to see some images from your special day:)

Claire & Rowy met 10 years ago and their connection was obvious from the first time I met with them.  They both share a love of travelling, and at their reception had photos around the room of all of the places they have been to together, it was a beautiful touch.

Claire was calm and composed in the lead up to the ceremony, and radiated with happiness. Her beautiful ‘something blue’ was a present that morning from Rowy’s Mum – a beautiful sapphire ring.  

Indianas was a beautiful reception, impecable service and food, and the view is spectacular.

Clare and Ian were such a beautiful couple to photograph, so calm and serene, and they had some fantastic news when I arrived – they are expecting a new addition to their family early next year! Exciting times ahead:)

I love all of the beautiful tea ceremony traditions that are involved with a Chinese wedding, it makes the day extra special.
