Tanaya and I went to school together, she arrived in Year 11 and instantly became a effervescent part of our group.  She is  bubbly and caring and always there for you. She moved to England for five years and while there met Josh who was also over there working from New Zealand. Tanaya actually moved into the house he was living with, and broke the rule of ‘never date a housemate’. Lucky for them it worked out, and five years later here they are saying I do to spend the rest of their lives together.

Listening to them both tell me about how they met and fell in love, and all the places they travelled to together was quite remarkable and lovely.

Josh is such a lovely guy and Tanaya I know that you have found your best friend and soul mate for life.

It was my absolute pleasure to be able to be there all day from the beginning and capture all of their love.

Sarah was glowing from the minute I saw her getting ready in their room at the Vines. Beautifully relaxed and enjoying the moment before she walked towards Shane in the beautiful bush setting at Caversham Park and said ‘I do’.

Such a special day with close friends and family, loads of laughs and lots of love.

Despite a few little hiccups in the week leading up to the wedding, Caroline and Sam’s day went smoothly and it was a beautiful day.

Belinda and Mark were married at the gorgeous grounds at Cottesloe Civic Centre, it is just gorgeous there. It was a 40 degree day and very hot, but Belinda glowed and very calmly said I do to the handsome Mark.

Belinda’s Nana’s (both over 80) travelled from South Africa to be there for the wedding, which was so special.

The highlight of the day was when Mark excitedly announced that they were expecting their family to grow in 7 months time. The room lit up and was filled with excitement!

Melinda & I went to uni together many years ago, and she absolutely made uni worth going to, we had such a blast laughing our way through the semesters, sometimes I wonder how we both graduated!

When she met Brett I knew straight away that it was serious, and it was so exciting to hear when he proposed to her. Fast forward 12 months, and I was so thrilled to be a part of their special day.

I did not stop laughing all day, especially since we had an awesome photo booth during the reception, you can see the images from that here.

Tegan & Marc were married on a beautiful mild January summers day.

The first time when I saw Tegan for the day was as she radiated down the aisle to Marc looking so happily in love.

It was wonderful to be able to be a part of their special day, filled with so much love and such a special group of friends that they shared it with.

Kate & Scott’s magical day was held at two of the most beautiful locations in Perth. St Georges is such a beautiful little chapel and The Quarry is one of my favourite venues in Perth. Its magical.

The whole day from start to finish was beautiful, their classic vintage style was shown in all the details of the day for their New Years day wedding. Kate and Scott’s speeches had me in tears, the love amongst family was beautiful to see, and so touching, and instead of guests buying gifts they gave to two incredible charities that they support.  Their first dance was amazing, and so fun to watch, and when Kate played guitar and had her good friend sing an incredible song to Scott I’m not sure there was a dry eye.

When I got to Julie’s house I was met by the most relaxed bride and bridesmaid, often there is a flurry of activity going on, but these girls were so relaxed and calm. Julie looked incredible in her beautiful Donna Tobin lace gown, and some of the lace from her dress was used to make her beautiful hair piece. The whole day was relaxed and beautiful, I loved seeing the lollie table which had used cartons of coffee chills as the lollie holders such a sweet idea as Richard has one or two of these every day ( I relate Richard I do too!).

Darlington Estate is just beautiful, and we had a lovely time walking around finding beautiful little nooks for some beautiful images.
