So I was absolutly thrilled when Ashleigh asked if I would photograph her wedding this September.

I met with them over Easter to talk more about their wedding and for an engagement session. It was such a beautiful afternoon, the Autumn light was supurb and Ashleigh and Lindsay were so well connected, relaxed and in love that it was a dream to photograph them.

I had the absolute pleasure of being able to document their day, Damien and Pirette you make a gorgeous couple, and it is so abundantly clear how in love you are. Congratulations!!!

Damien’s gorgeous Grandma has images like the ones below from her wedding, and so she requested that they be recreated. Such a beautiful idea, I love sentimental things like this!

My darling firstborn, how will I ever be able to tell you how much I completely and wholeheartedly love you, tell you how you have completely changed my world and your beauty and genuine nature makes me become a better person every day. I only hope that when you look back, you will always be able to remember and feel how wholeheartedly  loved you were as a child, and still are.

If I could bundle you up right now at this time, age 4 I think I would, I cannot imagine ever being more proud, happy and in love with you. Your never ending questions, whilst they sometimes drive me nuts,  are so interesting and your wealth for knowledge makes me proud. Your genuine and affectionate, open love is so touching, you are always asking me if I am ok, telling me ‘I love you too much Mummy’, and ‘your my best friend’ and giving me hugs. It fills me with such a feeling of contentment.  How did I get so lucky with such a beautiful, thoughtful son? I want to bundle it up, as I wonder if someday in the future you will cringe when I try to cuddle you or tell you that I love you, as we approach the teenage years.  I can only hope not.

You remind me often these days of my Mum, your Nanna, thoughtful, giving, caring, compassionate and loving. I feel so lucky to get to experience these lovely characteristics again in you.

You are lying on the couch waiting for me to finish this, and turn the computer off, having just woken up at midnight and not found me yet in bed. While Daddy is away you always seem to end up next to me in the middle of the night, and then Mason joins us as morning light starts to break. While the broken sleep is not terribly enjoyable being worken by both of you squiriming in the bed, as you are both restless sleepers, I know that the days are numbered for when you will still want to all share a bed, and its lovely to wake up with Mason and your smiling faces.

I love you my dear, sweet boy, I hope that you dont ever feel threatened to change how you are, or who you are, I hope that you will be secure and strong enough to just be the beautiful person that you are.

We found a beautiful park near the city, and had a lot of fun trying to get little Miss to show us her gorgeous smiles.

Ill be out of the office this week, but back in business from Monday 24th January.

Ill hopefully be doing lots of the above as well as attending an amazing workshop with none other than Jesh De Rox in Bali.  I hope to come back extra inspired and ready for an amazing year with all the wonderful clients I have booked and the ones Im yet to meet.

I have known Sarah since we were 5, and have gone through our complete schooling together, so to see her bloom as a Mother and do it so gracefully and naturally has been beautiful.

Thank You Sarah and Jason for allowing me the pleasure to photograph your beautiful little boy. I look forward to being able to watch him grow over the coming years.

Reception~ Matilda Bay

This gorgeous couple were married on the 6th November 2010. Surrounded by close friends and family, they had a beautiful intimate ceremony, followed by a beautiful evening at Matilda Bay.

Diana & Luke, thankyou for having me to capture your day, hope your having a wonderful time on your honeymoon!

She is a feisty little one, knowing exactly what she wants all the time!!  Her big sister doted on her so gently the whole time; these two are going to have such fun together growing up!!

We met just over two years ago, in our local park both pregnant and due within weeks from each other. Weve formed such a beautiful friendship, and spend many afternoons in the park chatting while our children play.

Fredie is such a calming influence, and has a serene and peaceful prescense that is always lovely to be around.

She will be welcoming a new little boy in the coming weeks, and we cant wait to meet him and have a new little one join us.
