This little sweetie was just so gorgeous she almost made me clucky again (a tough feat considering how little sleep I am getting lately!)

Meet beautiful baby Violet and her best buddy Chester. They say dogs and babies are the hardest to work with – well these two were an exception, perfectly posed in just minutes!

A little while ago I had the pleasure of photographing a old friend from schools gorgeous little one year old Amara.

She is such a sweet little thing, and doted on by her grandparents so it was lovely to be able to take some pictures of them all togther.

Family.

There is nothing quite like it.

I met this gorgeous family on a wintery, wet day. We’d already had to reschedule once, but just as we arrived down to the beach the sun came out and it was magnificent.

I love photographing families. The connections. The sibling love. The obvious joy and intensly deep love Mum and Dad have for their beautiful children. The little bits and pieces that Mum tells me about her children throughout the shoot.

Just as we ended this session Mum turned to me and told me she was glad we chose an afternoon at the beach where the children collected shells and played as Grandma has a special collection of shells all through her house. Im sure these images will be extra special then.

Rottnest Family Photography

The other afternoon I had the pleasure of going to Rottnest to take photos for two gorgeous families and their very cute children.

I havent been there for years and years, but it was so beautiful I cant wait to go back, in fact were taking the kids this weekend for a day trip!!

Gorgeous light, beautiful people and lots of giggles, how lucky am I!

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family again this year, its unbelievable what a difference a year makes at this early age!

We found a beautiful park near the city, and had a lot of fun trying to get little Miss to show us her gorgeous smiles.

I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous family 4 times over the past year!! It was so much fun, to watch them grow from a family of 3 to 4, and then to watch Tom grow into a real big boy, and little Miss Heidi from baby to toddler. You can see there other sessions here: Maternity, Newborn, 6 months.

When I looked back over the photos from the last 12 months, its incredible to see how much they change over that short period of time. Makes me realise how important and wonderful it is to be able to be constantly capturing them as they are.

Gina, it has been such a pleasure to meet with your family over the last year, I look forward to seeing you again next year!!
